Some Truths are Lies

There are a number of common "truths" I'm hearing more people confidently recognize and remove as they lean into innovation. 💡

What are some nagging "truths" you are working to let go of or change the perception of in your workplace?

The biggest barriers to innovation are the things we were once told or taught. Even the most well intended statement gets twisted from a momentary norm to a lasting truth.

So what do we do about it?

☝️ First, become aware of the ones you seem to be holding on to that may not be relevant to your current position or goals.

✌️ Next, tap into the ✨ magic of unlearning✨.

As I work on my next book {another Bestseller 🤔😬🤞} I continue to uncover so many norms that were established decades ago - or no one even knows when - that people are still using as best practice. When we know more we do better. It's time to do better.

If you want to be a leader of tomorrow, then I'm going to give you a big spoiler: the best practice of yesterday is no longer the best practice today.

More on that to come....
