Self-Education
{Self-Education}
Today is my first full day working remote due to COVID-19 and let me tell you, they are sick of me. π
Actually, it's been an adjustment, but I'm lucky to have worked remote in another job, so I have a home office ready to go. We are getting routines established and quite honestly, they are loving the structure. Will every day go this well? HEEEECK no. But *together* we are figuring this out.
And that's what I am LOVING right now. TOGETHER we will make it through this unbelievable time. I'm not just talking about my family. I'm talking about all of us.
I am seeing so many people take leaps into sharing their ideas, jumping into opportunities they've put off, and using my very favorite thing... their IMAGINATION! Yes yes and more yes.
Self-Education is a real thing. It's a way to learn from people that have "been there, done that" and can provide their own knowledge and insight that a book may not be able to. Why do you think YouTube tutorials are so popular? Or digital courses created by people just like us? It's a way to cut to the chase and get the information we need.
Take this time to self-educate or to share your knowledge and expertise. Maybe it's the educator in me, but I feel like this is such an incredible opportunity to learn more and be better.
