Make the Call.

In a world driven by digital connections, never underestimate the long-term impact that can come from one genuine connection.
One phone call.
One email.
One friendly hello.

It may end with just one moment of connection.
Or it may unlock the door to a network of business collaborations, professional advocates, and good 'ol fashioned friends.

An email is what lead to my first coffee with Lee Cockerell years ago.
Yet that one email took me ten years to send after first meeting Lee when he had just retired as executive VP of operations at Walt Disney World.

That one email has lead to a growing network of support {with a healthy balance of push-back}, that somehow finds a way to gather together despite living around the world.
This past weekend was one of those times.
It was a lively morning of stories shared over coffee, celebrating the belated birthday of Lee. ☕

As we raised our cups, it felt like a toast to meaningful connections. Each one uniquely formed. A collection of family, colleagues, and friends.

Connections that for most, started with a simple hello. All of us being brought together by the thread of one person's influence; Lee.

Lee's work of "Creating Disney Magic" has helped many navigate their personal and professional work. Whether it's through his podcast, courses, or masterminds, he is always up front about the magic of connection.✨

Grateful to have been able to gather around the table with a group of people that have become the most incredible guides through some of the most uncertain times.
And to think it all started with one connection.

Do yourself a favor and make the call.
Send the email.
Say hello.

Every circle of friends, every thriving network, every professional opportunity starts with a simple gesture of reaching out.
