AI Fails or Human Error

AI fail .... or human error? 💻 🤔
One of the best parts of working with people on innovation and creativity is the opportunity to explore my own curiosities. This past week has lead me deeper into AI Images and it's been nothing short of a hilarious experiment.

❓ What AI Image platforms have you been exploring? And how do you fix the fails along the way?

This has been such a rewardingly challenging project helping drive the creative direction for a student-athlete experience at a new Allstar Cheer & Dance program. And don't worry, these images of "cheerleaders performing stunts wearing black uniforms" absolutely did not make the cut. 🤣

Instead of accepting the "fail" or casting blame it was time to:
✨ ask better questions and/or give better context for the problem that needed solved
✨ find ways to provide more clarity for all people - ahem - and tools involved
✨ go back to the drawing board knowing that "fail" equipped us with more knowledge for the next prototype

There will always be quirks to work out and adjustments to make with the Design Thinking process. Consistent persistence will lead to the moment where it is clear you " understood the assignment."

🙌 Kudos to my kid for jumping in with a few suggestions on AI Image platforms. Seriously. She's 11. When she asked what I was working on she jumped into action, also getting some amusing first drafts. If you don't think kids don't know about AI then find a middle schooler. They will give you all the insight on platforms and ways it is being used among their peers.

Their interest in innovation is why I will always argue that kids are our most curious and creative resources. 💖

Do we need to make sure kids understand appropriate use of technology? Absolutely. Though I might I argue some adults could use a reminder as well 😉.
